I'm Back!

Well, at least for today. My last post (from five weeks ago) indicated that my blogging would be "random", but I never intended that to mean non-existent. Life got crazy, and I had to make a tough choice between blogging and writing. Obviously writing won out. Despite the fact that I've missed all of you so much, I have to say that it was the right decision. In the last month, I've been able to spend quality time with my family (usually at little league baseball games), and accomplish a great deal of writing. I completed my rewrites, did another whole round of revisions, and am smack dab in the middle of a third round. It's going much faster this time and baseball is winding down, so I hope to be more present around here in the coming weeks. So, how are all of you? What have I missed? Please tell me what I've missed!!!! I'll be around visiting today. I can't wait to catch up on everything.

I've Got Nothing ...

Except an empty shoe box. Yep, picture repeat, and I don't have much to talk about. Long story, and I'm sure you don't want to hear it. Let's just say that I'm about to throw my computer through the window. Of course, then I'd have to buy a new window and a new computer, so I won't. Anyway, today marks the beginning of summer for me, which means my kiddos are home invading my space and my computer time and my brain. Instead of giving up blogging entirely, I'm forewarning you that my posts will be random in timing and in content, but I will be around visiting my favorite haunts. Good news, though... I'm down to one chapter on my rewrites. I'm doing all kinds of happy dances here! So, here's to RANDOM SUMMER BLOGGING! What are your plans for the summer months?

Last Day to Celebrate!

Sorry about the late post today. It's been a crazy morning. At any rate, we've been celebrating my blogiversary here all week, but all good things must come to an end, right? On Monday, we discussed our favorite things about blogging, and on Wednesday, we discussed our least favorite things. Just about every one of you indicated that the time it takes is a big drawback to blogging but that it is worth it. I'd have to agree. Now, for Wednesday's winner. I didn't have time to play solitaire, so I had to choose a different approach for selecting the winner. I decided to go by the combined score of my son's baseball game last night, which happened to be nine. They won 6 - 3. Go Scrappers! So, the ninth commenter is the winner. The Celebration Continues!

We're celebrating a year of blogging around here all week. There's plenty of cake, so please take some. On Monday, we talked about our favorite things about blogging. Although, you all said something different, it all boiled down to one thing--interaction with people. That's what blogging is all about. Interaction.
