Yes, that's right. My blog is officially one year old. Can you believe it? I can't. It seems like yesterday that I started this thing without a clue of what I was doing. Back in the early days there were no shoes, and I pretty much kept to myself. I honestly never thought anyone would care to read what I had to say or that I would care what others had to say. Boy, was I wrong! Reading other blogs has been not only a pleasure, but also a valuable source of information. I feel blessed to have found this community of kind and considerate bloggers, so I've decided to give back (in a small way).
To celebrate my blogiversary, I will be having three separate give aways. The first, of course, is today. To enter, just leave a comment by midnight tonight telling me why you love blogging. I will randomly pick a name tomorrow and announce the winner on Wednesday, which will be the day of the second give away. Today's prize is a $10 gift card to Barnes and Noble.

It's A Blogiversary Celebration!

I love blogging because it's allowed me to meet and get to know people who I never would have known otherwise. I love that I can be friends with people on the other side of the country (and the world) and people from all different walks of life. It's been fun.

Happy Blogiversary! I've been blogging regularly for four months beginning with a goal of posting twice a month but quickly increased to 3x a week. Most of all I love connecting with other creative minds. I've learned a lot. I also like that blogging makes me creative, having to come up with new subjects and ways to convey information.

What i love about blogging is the people. I mean, writing is such a solitary pursuit, and it feels so good to connect with others that share our passion and are striving the sam way we are.
