I've Been A Bad Blogger

But, in my defense, it isn't entirely my fault. Nor is it my fault that I don't have a shoe picture today. All my shoes are buried under 6 foot snow drifts. And with the winter storm, our Internet connection has been sketchy at best, so I haven't been able to get around to visit all of you as much as I'd like. Being trapped at home, however, has allowed me to do a whole bunch of other things. I wrote a lot. I read a lot. I ate a lot. I cleaned a lot. And, I watched way too much television. Lucky for me, our Internet didn't cut out once yesterday when I sat in on a Writer's Digest webinar instructed by Mary Kole of The Andrea Brown Literary Agency. Let me just say, it was fantastic. I'll post about what I learned next week. Until then, I'll be trying to dig some of my shoes out from the snow and reading as many blogs as my Internet connection will allow. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend! And for those of you experiencing the same weather as I am, stay warm and remember that spring is just around the corner.

Hope you find your shoes in the snow. I actually miss it. Why don't you send me snow and I'll send you sunshine from PR. :) Love you Susan. Enjoy your weekend.

Susan- Enjoy the solitude - it sure can be productive, as in your case!
I look forward to hearing about the webinar (I haven't participated in one).
Have a wonderful weekend. :)

I hope it's around the corner! I'm dying for some warm weather. But I did enjoy the two snow days. I did a lot of writing, a lot of eating as well, a lot of reading...no cleaning. No exercising. Not sure if I should feel good about myself or bad. :)

It's like spring right now, but that will only last until tomorrow.

Sometimes not having the internet is a good thing. Looking forward to hearing what Mary Kole had to say.

Good luck with all that snow! If it keeps up, think of all the writing time you'll have!

Snowed in...perfect reason to attend a webinar! I can't believe it's messing with your Internet, though. That sucks!

Glad your internet held out for the webinar! Looking forward to your thoughts on it; I've often considered doing a WD webinar but I didn't know if they were worth the (rather high) price tag.

Our weather was spring like today. Lots of melting snow. But it's going to get cold again and turn everything to ice. :(

Can't wait to hear what you learned on the webinar. Maybe next time I'll consider doing one.

Sounds like you had a wonderful "snow day." I did, too. I will be with you in looking for spring.

I have always admired your title page or whatever you call it with all those lovely shoes.

It has been a tough winter for a lot of people especially those of you who are not used to having the cold and snow. Here in Wisconsin, it is just winter as usual tho it has been colder than some and began earlier and I hope along with everyone that Spring comes soon.

Am looking forward to your report on that TV program.

Better keep those bare feet indoors!

Brrrrrrrrrr Spring is just around the corner. WOOT! Let's hope so. Sorry about your internet. Been there, done that. It's so weird, isn't it? Not being able to have access. Ivy thinks she's going to die. I tell her she will live. Her reply, "No Mom, this is serious. I'm gonna just die." ;)

Sketchy Internet is always a nightmare. We haven't had mail in four days because of the snow!

Can't wait to hear more about this webinar!

Lawd, what a winter! And some of the states that are usually warmer than us are colder than us -- a mess...

no apologies ever required!
