Cute boot, huh?

Something tells me I'm going to wish I had a pair of them by tomorrow. Yes, the weathermen are calling for the biggest winter storm of the season. My Uggs just might not do the trick this time around. Today... ice and fog. Tomorrow... up to 12 inches of snow. Wednesday... -12 degrees. Will this winter ever end? Of course it will, but in the mean time, I plan on doing what any self-respecting aspiring author would do. I'll be curled up on the couch next to the fire with my WiP. Anyone care to join me?

Ohh so you are going to get the storm first! Be warm...those boots are perfect for that weather but I'd be too afraid in the summer that they will attack me in my sleep! hehe.

It sounds like you're well prepared for the storm!
The boots? Hmmm... I think I'd stick to the Uggs. ;)

12 inches in one day?! Wow. Stock up on hot chocolate, marshmallows and good books. Sounds like you'll need it!

I'll be working on my WiP this week. Finishing up this round of revisions. Sadly, I do not have a fire.

Stay warm!

Enjoy your curling up time! We are doing the same in Cyprus. I do think you would find it a tad warmer though. However, for us it feels...brrrr. LOL

We had that storm this weekend, but we still had basketball and soccer games to go to, although I wish I could have just hunkered down.

Curling up by the fire sounds nice. But today is laundry day and my little one wants to play Barbies. It's going to get COLD tonight, though, so once the kids are in bed, I'm planning on getting something done, even if it's just 100 words :)

We're supposed to get that storm too! Except, I'll probably be home with my kids during a snow day, which means not much writing time!

I'd love to have some curl up time but I'll be at work clearing the snow away and wishing I had a desk job! :)

I think we're just about to get dumped on too, so you know where I'll be...:) Stay Warm!!

Wow, I couldn't imagine having that much snow. I live in the south and things grind to a halt when there's one inch:)

Snow, glorious snow! You're probably thinking you've had enough of a good thing about now. I hear you. Just think, it is the last day of January, so all you have to do is get through February and March. :)

I actually want a pair of boots like that. :)

Weatherman said we're supposed to get hit too but I think freezing rain for us.
I'll be writing either way. :)

I wish!!! I live 4 blocks from my office so it's hard to call in a snow day :(

Oh, I'd LOVE to! And I will if we get a snow day. I'm trying not to get my hopes up though.

Oh, you poor girl, all that Brrrr-ness. We're having clear and 50 degrees here in Oregon. But yes--you have PERFECT writing weather. Go for it!

I'll be over about eightish. Coffee cup in one hand, laptop in the other. Have doughnuts ready by the fire. Oh and some chocolate too.

Sounds good to me! It's not snowing here, though, so I have to go to work tomorrow. :-(

I'll join you, but not by the fire. It's too hot over here! :)

My wife has cute Uggs that she got before they became super popular and expensive.

I'll try and join you, make some progress, though I have an appointment in the morning. Hopefully the snow won't be bad early.

HA! wow. Fuzzy boots. Have a good day bundled up tomorrow! Probably where I will be too, though our storm doesn't sound nearly as bad (I hope!)

The boots are adorable. My ten year old would have loved to have them this morning when she braved her way to the bus stop:)

I just heard on the radio that you were getting 12 inches. Wow! Be careful and have fun writing. =)

Yes, Susan, I am preparing for the big storm of the centery or whatever. I will curl up and do something if we have a snow day. Wish I had a WIP. When I get my work done, I'll probably read or try my new thing, drawing.

-12? I don't think I've ever lived anywhere that cold! I'll be working on my query...thanks for your help over on Matt's blog. :)

I'm in OKC and we got the same weather! Still have 5-6 foot snow drifts in the yard and cars are stuck EVERYWHERE. I'm keeping myself entertained at home until it melts!
