I started my blog after taking a writing seminar where I was told, "If you want to be a successful writer, you have to have a blog." So I made a blog.

I write primarily about the more humorous & thought-provoking aspects of life parenting my teens. And I've met so many great people through my blog (like you!). But just as you've already experienced, I can feel some blog evolution coming on for 2012!Name: Holly Bownehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01079363337603264641noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8515903861204137058.post-54963295808120251182011-12-03T13:34:35.222-06:002011-12-03T13:34:35.222-06:00Just last night, I was thinking about the evolutio...Just last night, I was thinking about the evolution of my blog. I just wanted to connect with other writers and get some feedback on what I'd been working on.

As I became acquainted with how blogging actually works, and ventured into commenting on other's blogs, it was like a whole new world opened up! You were one of the first people I met--someone who actually visited my blog! :)

I guess now I'm giving more thought to how my blog represents me--and my novels. The blog ended up evolving to what it is today when I realized mostly writers were reading the blog. Whenever I blogged about writing, I'd get comments. I'm like a psychology experience. My blog started out as a: I don't really know what I'm doing here, kinda thing. Hmmm, it hasn't changed that much either. Ha! But I want to have pages and especially an agent/publisher page. Trying to find more time for that. I was terribly frightened when I first started. My crit partner Beth made me do it. But I'm glad I did.
